Why subscribe to a stock letter if you are already a successful investor or trader? The same reason I personally subscribe to other good stock newsletters. Two or more people looking for stock winners are far better than one.
How does one decide if the letter is "worth" the subscription cost?
The way I decide is to look at my Return on Investment (ROI). If I pay $500 for a newsletter, I need to make at least $500 on that newsletter's stock picks during the year. That's just 1000 shares and a stock price move of 50 cents.

Timing is very important. I do not like to enter an investment or trade 3 months prior to the stock's move and be sitting on "dead money." My belief is that the more stock market exposure an investor or trader has, the more risks they incur. My objective is to enter the stock within days of the move. This builds confidence in the position, and psychology is critical to successful investing and trading in the stock market. For this reason, many stock options players subscribe to my stock newsletter.
